Based in Berlin since 2015 (it’s been that long?!), and partially in Brescia since 2020.
During my BA in Visual Communication at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin, I focused on paper engineering and created my own pop-up book, Night Tails. My passion for pop-up and three-dimensional illustration was born during work on my final project and has since evolved into one of my main focuses.
I have been working in lithography since 2017, continuously experimenting with and developing my style and technique. I also acted as a tutor in the Weißensee Academy of Art lithography workshop, assisting fellow students in their work.
I work with watercolours, coloured pencils, crayons, and occasionally with Procreate.
I have given live pop-up improvisation performances and led workshops in both pop-up and linocut.
As a lover of all things old, I strive to record and preserve memories and traditional techniques. My work often combines old and new, such as complex pop-up books or board games with lithographic illustrations, reworking classic bookbinding techniques and constructions for my own use and concepts.
As of now, I am researching and collecting knowledge about wild plants — from historical facts to personal memories — with the aim of creating an educational (I swear it’s also fun) game and an MA dissertation on our relationship with the plant world.
